Computing and Internet Facilities:

The Institute is well equipped with latest Laboratory and computing facilities in all departments. The Institute has a sophisticated Computer Laboratory with 10 Mbps internet facilities provided by NIC(Shillong) which is accessible to the students for various academic purposes. Further, each faculty is also allotted a computer in their own chamber with internet connections for Lecture preparations, maintaining records etc.

Medical Services:

Shillong Polytechnic has a full time pharmacist who is present in the Institute during the working hours. Smti Patricia Thabah (M. Pharm) is the full-time Pharmacist in the Institute. The Institute has a ready stock of medicines which are issued to the students as and when the need arises. Serious medical cases are referred to the nearest hospitals and clinics available.
