History

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is one of the departments in Shillong Polytechnic . It was established in 1993 and was previously called the Department of Electronics with an intake capacity of 30 students. The primary objective is to produce skilled engineers and technicians at the supervisory level to meet the growing demand in various sectors.

Courses

The department currently offers a 3-year Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake capacity of 30 seats.
